EXAMINATION & DIAGNOSIS

Your sports medicine doctor will complete a physical exam, and If necessary, recommend diagnostic imaging such as xrays, ultrasound or an MRI. They will diagnose your condition and explain the best medical, surgical and non-surgical treatment options for your injury.

EFFECTIVE TREATMENT OPTIONS

An appropriate treatment plan will be recommended. It may involve referral to a specialist, orthopedic surgeon, physiotherapy, massage therapy or chiropractic. It may also involve injections such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), viscosupplementation (HA) or cortisone.
