Clients with musculoskeletal injury or concerns may be eligible to claim the course under their extended health care coverage as part of a therapeutic exercise program treatment plan. Contact us to find out if you qualify.
We offer private one-on-one sessions, as well as group classes in Therapeutic Yoga for individuals with conditions or injuries that cause limitations, Yoga for Athletes for more active individuals, and Postnatal Mom and Baby Yoga.
Our yoga program is unique as it is run by a Registered Physiotherapist and Certified Yoga Instructor, Sarah Symmes. The classes focus on proper form and modifications to help improve strength, flexibility posture and core strength, as well as help recover from injury and prevent re-injury. The classes are taught as 6-week pre-registered series that focus on a gentle opening of the joints, deep breathing and relaxation exercises, as well as increasing core strength improving posture, and gaining greater body awareness.
Classes are small in size to allow for ample time for individual instruction, hands on adjustments and questions.

The PhysioPlus Health Group Pilates instructors are specially trained to work with injured individuals. They understand how to modify an exercise program to accommodate an injury, allowing you to build strength and return to your activity or sport safely. They work closely with our physiotherapists, osteopaths and other practitioners to help get you moving again after an injury, and safely get you back to doing whatever it is you enjoy doing.
