Osteopathy is a hands-on approach to treating pain and dysfunction. Osteopaths use a variety of hands-on techniques to help restore mobility, reduce pain, promote recovery from injury, and improve function and health. They use a combination of joint techniques, soft tissue release, craniosacral techniques and visceral techniques to achieve this.

The PhysioPlus Health Group osteopaths are graduates of the Canadian College of Osteopathy and are registered with the Ontario Association of Osteopaths. The program of study to become an osteopath in Canada involves 5 years of study and a thesis, which requires an additional 2 years of study. Prior to commencing treatment, our osteopaths conduct a thorough history and assessment in order to identify the root of your problem. A typical treatment consists of 30 - 60 minutes of direct, hands-on treatment. Many insurance companies cover the cost of osteopathic treatment.
