Bloor West Family Doctors come to learn at PhysioPlus Health Group!
A big thank you goes out to all who participated in the event - it was a huge success!

On Thursday March 22, 2012, our PhysioPlus Health Group team held a Continuing Medical Education Course for family doctors in the Bloor West area. A big thank you goes out to all who participated in the event – it was a huge success!

The course was led by the clinic's own practitioners: our Orthopaedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Physician, Dr. Duong Nguyen, along with our physiotherapists and chiropractor Sarah Symmes, Tricia Jaques, Courtney Hypes, Michelle DeMarchi and Dr. Caley Bell-Pacht.

This unique collaboration between our medical and rehab practitioners allowed us to present an interesting course to family doctors that discussed and demonstrated the most effective and up-to-date non-surgical and surgical treatment options for common shoulder injuries. It was a practical and informative course where the family physicians had an opportunity to refine their clinical examination skills and gain a better understanding of the most effective way to manage the shoulder injuries they commonly see in their patients.

Our team looks forward to holding more of these exciting continuing education events in the future!
